The listing is for a canvas print from the new 'City Series' collection and the first print is a contemporary image of a Manchester City Centre skyline looking from Salford showing many iconic buildings including the Manchester Cathedral, Beetham Tower, The GMEX and Granada Studios.

The photograph has been edited and converted into a duo-tone image which you can have coloured to your liking. This print is exclusive to wallstamp.co.uk, the image was taken and edited by myself so you will not find it anywhere else.

I have a few different colour options on ebay with sizes ranging from 16"x40" to 30"x72" (six foot wide!)

These prints are produced to a high specification - HP 350gsm Canvas / Z3200, Vivera inks / Liquid lamination / Hand stretched for a professional look.

Doing these simple updates and tweaks got me thinking about my experience with the web design and the admin side of my business and also the effort that it has taken me to get to where I am now.
The time that it has taken me to learn the basic and intermediate web skills seems a little excessive considering it's not the career path that I chose. I just didn't fancy handing over large sums of money, possibly on a regular basis when I knew it was something that I could feasibly do myself.
Some good things have developed from it though, I have been asked to build two other websites for paying clients so that has softened the blow a little. These jobs may lead to more work so the effort may pay off eventually!

If you ever consider building and maintaining a web store with no previous web experience you definitely need to consider if it is worth doing the work yourself of paying somebody else to do it for you.
It takes time to understand and master the e-commerce solution that you have chosen, you also need to understand how you are going to market your site and make it SEO friendly. Plus if you are a one man band like me you have to make sure that your web store build is rock solid, because the more time you are sat fixing niggling site problems the less time you have to do the work that you are actually paid for.
